3D Upgrade

In 2009, NATO commissioned Intersoft Electronics to upgrade several Martello S723-743D radar systems under a Service Life Extension Program (SLEP). The core of the upgrade consists of a NextGen IF Signal Processor (ISP894) running state-of-the-art algoritms for clutter cancellation based on smart antenna techniques. The upgrade successfully addressed obsolescence and maintenance issues as well as providing significant performance gains in Probability of Detection (Pd), range/azimuth accuracy and resolution. This project allowed us to develop an Out-Of-The-Box 3D radar upgrade solution for S723-743D and AN/TPS-70 systems, easy to install according to our Closed Loop Installation Concept (CLIC).
